Succulent Favors: If I order plant favors, will I get them in time for my event?

We generally require 2 weeks to prepare and make succulent favors for an event, but in some cases we can accommodate Rush orders. When ordering on a Rush, which is an option in most favor listings in our shop, be sure to message us directly to ensure we can make and ship favors in time for your event.

Succulent Favors: Will I have to maintain and water them before my event?

No, you will not. Our typical protocol is to ship plant favors out on the Monday prior to your event so that they arrive within 2-3 days of the event, freshly watered and ready to set out. We do this to alleviate you from having to maintain the plants before your party - you have enough to do! Also, this avoids any issues with plants dying, burlap wraps becoming wet or stretching, or our proprietary moss stuffing from transferring green color to the wraps. If you are having an event at a venue, or if you hope to receive the favors prior to departing for the location of the event, please contact me to discuss the best shipping delivery date for you.

Virtual Baby Shower Favor Boxes: How does this work?

Our Virtual Baby Shower Favor Boxes are delightful for your out-of-town guests to receive, or even more fun if a Zoom party is planned. These are fully customized boxes that include a 2" succulent, a custom wrap and flag tag, a custom notecard with your desired verbiage, and stickers to enclose everything which coordinate with your chosen theme. Pricing includes Priority Mail shipment to individual addresses. Once your order is placed, you'll receive an email from us with instructions for sending the individual addresses for your recipients and a sample file of designs we have available or we will work with you to customize a design specifically for you. How do I care for and maintain a living succulent box?

The first key is not to overwater it! Most of my boxes do NOT have drainage holes as they are meant to be displayed on furniture that may not be moisture proof (dining tables, console tables, desks, bedside tables, etc.). The best practice is to NEVER pour water directly into the box, and tell anyone who helps care for your home the same. Feel for moisture in the moss that is in and around the plants. If there is moisture, do not mist your box. If it is dry to the touch in most areas, take a spray mist bottle and dampen the moss in and around the plants pretty thoroughly. Then DO NOT mist it again until it is dry to the touch. Give your succulent box bright INDIRECT natural light and it should last for up to 5 or 6 months.

Can you change the artwork or phrasing on the tags?

We can! You can check the shop for any of our physical items (not digital downloads) and choose the "Custom" option and we will reformat our design to include specific artwork and verbiage for your event.
