Can I change my order?

Sure, but we do have a change policy. All changes (including but not limited to: frame choice, shipping address, or location) may incur a change fee. The exact change fee will depend on the extent of work involved. If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the options.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Due to the custom nature of our products, we're not able to accept returns or exchanges. If you added personalization, you'll have a chance to review a PDF of your map before production. If your map arrives damaged or with an error, please contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can fix it!

Will I get to see my product before it's produced?

If you added personalization, you will receive a PDF before we send your map to production. When you receive your PDF, be sure to double check all details. We aren't responsible for errors overlooked by the customer. As the PDF is just a digital rendering, the colors will not be true to life. We ask that you use the PDF just to verify the details of your map. Also, if you take more than 48 hours to respond to the PDF, your order may be delayed. We'll do our best to keep in touch with you, but if we don't get a response after 4 days, we'll assume the PDF is approved, and move forward with production. If you don't check your Etsy account often, please provide an email that we can send the PDF to!

When will my product ship?

Typically, our processing time is 1-2 weeks from the time you place your order. During the holiday season, processing times usually increase (so buy early!). If you need to rush your order, please contact us as soon as possible, and we can try to work with your deadline. Rush fees apply. Keep an eye on our shop announcement for updated processing times.

Do you offer accept custom orders?

YES! We love custom orders! Please contact us directly to discuss the details of your project.

What map styles do you offer?

We have three map styles available: two-dimensional and three-dimensional. 2D maps feature two layers of wood. The land detail is engraved on a natural wood layer, and the water detail is engraved on a blue-stained layer. The water detail (depth lines, depth numbers, etc) are highlighted white so they pop beautifully against the blue. 3D maps feature up to 8 individual depth layers within the blue-stained water layer. No matter the depth of your body of water, we can incorporate multiple layers into the map!

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Unfortunately no. Because of the size of our products and packaging, we're not able to gift wrap our products. However, if you'd like just to include a handwritten card in your package, please let us know!

HOW TO ORDER:

1. Choose Your Size
o Small 10x16 or 11x14
o Medium 14x22 or 16x20
o Large 32x20 or 24x30 (Dimensions and orientation depend on the shape of your location)

2. Pick Your Style:
o 2D Maps – Depth detail engraved and highlighted on a flat water layer
o 3D Maps – Up to 8 individual depth layers for a true 3D effect
o Due to size limitations, small maps typically include fewer depth layers

3. Select Your Frame:
o Professional-grade, 1.5" wide frames
o For framed size, add 3" to the map dimensions. (Example: a 16"x20" map measures approximately 19"x23" overall once framed)

4. Personalize Your Map:
In the personalization box, please include:
o State, county, and location name
o Optional: Home or landmark with name/address/GPS coordinates
o Optional: Personalization style (from our chart)

WHAT TO EXPECT

· After purchase, you’ll receive a digital proof (PDF) of your design to review and approve. Keep an eye out for your proof—delays in approval can push back production. If we don’t hear from you after two attempts, we’ll move forward with production using the original proof provided.

· Typical production time is 1–2 weeks from the time you order. Sometimes we’re faster, but during busy seasons (like the holidays), production times may increase. If you have a deadline, we recommend ordering early.

· Need it sooner? Rush production is available for an additional fee, but may not be available close to major holidays. Please reach out if you would like to rush your order.
