How unusual and amazing is this spiral hat from Louise Madeleine?! This milliner was originally located on Michigan Ave. in Chicago, IL with other high end milliners of the time.
The black velvet hat spirals upward in black velour, and is covered with multicolored woven straw ribbons attached all over. This hat will definitely take your outfit to the next level! Truly a work of art, this conversation piece is one-of-a-kind

It is in excellent vintage condition, with no signs of wear or damage.

Measures 6" wide

Please note that this hat appears to be made to be worn near the back of the head (secured), or possibly on top of a pile of hair. It will not sit on my mannequins head without some help!

This item arrived very quickly, came in repurposed recyclable packing and actually looks even better in person than it did in the listing photos. The material has no pulling, shows no signs of felting and a spot on the front that was visible but minor in photos is all but undetectable in person.
