It's a very beautiful stone. However, the ring is sort of chunkier/bigger than I expected. The band is also textured, not smooth like the pics seem. I don't know if more pictures would have helped, but I wouldn't have bought it if I saw it was how it is. It feels awful to say it is "more" than it looked, but I wanted a simpler design. That being said, the packaging is great, it would make a great gift, and included coupons for future purchases.
