Highlights
Custom, one of a kind, seed bead embroidered Pentacle/Pentagram Necklace with a hand sewn Spiral Rope Beaded Chain, made with pink and gold Japanese seed beads.
Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp.
This necklace wears beautifully and is a generous 27" long.
Shades of pink, purple and also cream and charcoal Japanese Seed Beads grace this 2 plus inch diameter disc, hand sewn to interfacing and with an ultra suede backing.
The Pentagram is an ancient symbol, going back to pre-christian times. Most lately associated with the Wiccan religion, the points on the star represent the four elements, Air, Earth, Fire and Water, with the fifth point at the top representing Spirit. The Pentagram is also associated with the figure of the human body, standing tall with legs spread to shoulder width and arms outstreatched straight out to the sides, and the head tilted slightly back. This is known as the "star" pose.
