Raw wool from the English Lake District. Portland breed producing a nice medium stape length of creamy white soft wool, Ideal for spinning, felting and a brilliant baby photo prop. A great range of texture in this fleece.

Available raw or washed as pictured.

50 grams is best for needle felting
200 grams is best for basket stuffer newborn photography
1000 grams is best for a sitter shoot

1500 grams = 50 ounces in weight
2200 grams = 5 pounds in weight

Felting:
Needle felting snowmen or landscapes is quick and easy with this wool.
Wet felting works well, a little natural lanolin remains so it felts fast.

Spinning:
My mother hand spins this wool and finds it beautifully soft to the touch, ideal for items worn next to the skin.
