Royal Blue Felted Wool Cloche Hat: Handmade Winter Bucket Hat

handmade felted wool Cloche with a curved brim in Royal blue, or your choice color. It is the warmest you will ever own, water and snow resistant, and won't give you hat hair! You can dress it up by adding a broach or a flower, or anything you fancy for embellishing. The 2" curved brim has an additional 1/2" in the front that you can place anywhere on your head and shape for different looks as shown in the pics. If worn in the front when turned down, it will give you a little extra coverage from the sun and cold snowy or rainy days.

✨✨To measure your head for a proper fit take a soft measuring tape, starting from above your eyebrows going around to the widest part of the back of your head and back to the front again. Place one finger under the tape measure for a comfortable fit and that is your head size. ✨✨

When it gets wet from the weather just shake it and place it in its natural shape to dry. It will come back perfectly. Only the outer part gets wet, so your hair stays perfectly dry.

All my hats are personally handmade, crocheted using the finest wool yarns, double skein, then felted to size. Placed on a shaper to dry and pressed, then sprayed with a stiffening agent and steamed ironed to help hold their shape beautifully for years to come. It's really quite a process and worth their work for they will keep you warm and fashion pretty!

Wool has a tremendous capacity to absorb vapor – up to 30% of its own weight before it feels damp or wet. In other words, wool also keeps you warm even when wet!
