    I will gift wrap your lovely item in white tissue paper and tie it with red ribbon. This will be topped off with a gift tag with From: "your name".

Vintage 1950's light brown, fur collared Holly Gab winter coat features a light brown mink fur collar and a double breasted front. There are two hooks on the removable (see photo 6) collar that will snug the blonde fur, with a snap underneath.

The front is closed with buttons of wound soutache braid. The three quarter length sleeves are cut-on with a seam down the outside as well as the usual one underneath. There are two pockets in the front side seams with cut-on faux welts.

The coat fabric is bonded to a polyester type net backing. It is lined with satin that also has a backing - of what looks like a loosely woven gray wool.

Size tag: missing, I would guess a size 14 based on how it fits my size 16 body.
Content tag: 100% Australian Worsted

Condition: piece of fur missing on collar right side (1.25 x .75 inches - 3.2 x 2.5 cm), see photos

It measures 40.5 inches (103 cm) long. The following measurements are taken flat, from side to side, so they need to be doubled for around the body measurements.

bust: 23 inches (58.5 cm)
hips: 25.5 inches (65 cm)
I'm a 16 (43-40-42.5 inches), and could wear it with a tight shirt underneath, but it was a bit tight, expecially when I bent my arms, so a nice fit for a size 14.
