Custom and personalized orders

I love making special, one-of-a-kind items! Feel free to contact me if you have questions about setting up a custom order. Stamped key chains, bookmarks, and jewelry may feature your special message as long as it fits. (Ask me before ordering if you're not sure what will fit.) Sometimes I need more information from you to complete personalized items, so make sure you're set up to receive emails from Etsy. If I'm unable to reach you, I may need to cancel your order. Please allow extra time to make your special item before shipping. Items that are personalized with names, dates, places, or other very specific information are *not* returnable.

Engraving vs Hand Stamping (Can You Write On The Back?)

Metal (Aluminum, Steel, Copper) I add words to most metals using a hammer, not a laser or machine. This means that I cannot add words to both sides of an item. (You will see the hammer marks and brushed finish on the back.) Because I add one letter at a time, I do not have machine-like precision for alignment. (I'm human!) Anodized Aluminum This may be laser engraved on both sides. This is a colored metal (red, green, blue, black, purple). Wood If you need a 2-sided item, you may prefer a laser engraved wood keychain or other wood items (earrings, pendants) as a custom order.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Jewelry, key chains, bookmarks, and ornaments all come packaged for in a gift box with my logo. If you're shipping a gift directly, you can include a personal note. (I highly recommend you include your name on your note, otherwise sometimes people think the gift is coming from me!)

I required to charge sales tax for a number of states and Australia. Sales tax will be calculated automatically.

When Will I Get My Item and Other Shipping Questions

Choose First Class (least expensive, slowest) or Priority Mail (more expensive, faster) shipping at checkout. U.S. packages over 1 pound must be sent Priority Mail; First Class is only for lightweight items. Orders with free shipping ship the cheapest way. Contact me about Express/Overnight shipping. Delivery dates are *estimated* by the post office and *not* guaranteed. (Packages may arrive later than expected!) You will get a tracking number to use at usps.com as soon as your package ships. Items are normally shipped Monday-Friday, except U.S. post office holidays. I normally ship within 3-5 business days of your order. I often ship more quickly! Let me know if you have a specific deadline. If I'm able to ship earlier, I will.

I do *not* normally include printed receipts in packages, except in international packages where it is required by customs. You may print out your own receipt on the Etsy website at any time by visiting your Purchases page under Your Account. If you'd prefer that I include a printed receipt in your package, just ask!

It generally takes 2-8 weeks or longer for orders to arrive from the United States, depending upon how long the package spends in customs and the efficiency of your local postal service. You are responsible for any extra customs fees, duties, or taxes your own country may add. Look at your own government's website if you need more information about fees. I do not currently offer full wholesale through Etsy, but I'm sometimes able to offer smaller bulk discounts to museums or small gift shops depending upon the order amount. Etsy will collect tax even on resale items; you'll need to request a sales tax refund from them after the purchase.

Sterling silver ear wires are more expensive than silver-plated, but are generally a better choice for those with metal sensitivities. (The plating can wear off in cheaper silver-plated earrings, leaving the base metal exposed.)
