After a 1954 fashion photo of a model wearing Balenciaga's beautiful gown of ivory embroidered lace with tulle train held up by satin bows. Monotone Sepia in oil on 16"x12" stretched cotton canvas, signed and protected with a permanent removable archival varnish

This painting includes heavy duty hanging hardware, and will be safely packaged, insured and shipped via USPS with a money-back guarantee.

I use only the finest professional and archival materials for my paintings, and prefer to paint oils on hardwood panels or 100% cotton canvas primed with high-quality acrylic gesso ground. Once the painting is dry, a permanent archival varnish is applied to protect the surface of the finished painting from UV rays, dust, and other contaminants. This is a removable varnish that allows for future cleaning without harming the paint layers.
