This little cosmetic pouch was my first creation. I intended it as a travel pouch in which you can keep all your travel items (like foreign currency and reading glasses), but over the years it proved to be an excellentcosmetic pouch.

Each cosmetic pouch is made of the finest silks and measures approximately 20 x 22 cm. this cosmetic pouch is one of my personal favorites. "Indian" not only refers to the Indian silks the rainbow is composed of, but especially to the richness of the colors that are so typical of India. We Dutch tend to focus on the rain, Indians are the first to see the rainbow coming out!

I made the rainbow myself by hand stitching the silks color by color until all the colors of the rainbow are built. The blue color of the back may differ slightly depending the type of silk I use.
