Created in 1974, this one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted Bohemian Caftan dazzles and delights the eye.

Dramatic in silhouette, it features cozy comfort: note how the broad neckline pairs with flared, point-drape sleeves, whilst, beneath the elastic midriff, the body of the garment flows loose and relaxed. The back zipper and single hook allow for easy donning and doffing of the dress. The long, drape-point sleeves feature hand-finished seams; view the raw edges rolled under and whip-stitched in place for a fine, detailed finish.

Imagine yourself, embraced in style and ease, all a-dance in this stunning, heart-shaped print, delivered in rich tones of Vibrant Orange, Persimmon Red, and Deep Eggplant on a base of Saffron Yellow. Depending on the light, the heart-shaped Eggplant tones read almost as a rich, Toasty Brown.

The fabric is a bold, Mid-Century Modern Indian print cotton.
Hand-made, the caftan bears no label.
We do not vouch for, and are not liable for, the colorfastness of this vintage cotton fabric.
We recommend either hand-washing in cool water with mild soap and laying flat to dry, or else dry cleaning.
On the inside of the one of drape-point sleeves there are slight brown/eggplant spots, due to natural variation in the dye process.
The under-bust is refreshed with new elastic.
The vintage hanger is for display only, and is not included with the caftan.
