This Solid Argentium Silver Band is 3 mm wide and cut into an outward eight-sided 24 faces faceted band.

Argentium silver has a higher silver content than sterling, less copper (making it more tarnish resistant) and a touch of germanium which further protects from tarnish. It is also hypoallergenic. Eco-friendly recycled silver is used exclusively in the manufacture of Argentium Silver so yes, it is even better for the environment.

Please note: Your Argentium Silver will tarnish very slowly over time by reacting with chemicals found in the air; high moisture levels, especially salt water increase this reaction. You can protect your sterling items by keeping them in the zip lock packages they arrive in, (which may also contain a tarnish-resistant tab that absorbs harmful chemicals), and store in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed with a polishing cloth or soaking in an anti-tarnish solution. Be sure to follow the instructions on those solutions as they react quickly.
