This is a lovely unused 1940s Artistic note card featuring two metallic picture frames (goldtone, or possibly copper) on a wide pink satin ribbon against a lavender background. The lower frame holds a simple pastoral painting. Two large, pretty flower blossoms, with leaves, are just in front of the painting. One flower is in shades of pink and the other is white with a yellow center.

These Handi-Note cards feature a small cut-out "window" near the top, and I suppose that is where one would write the recipient's name: "Dear Mary" or whatever. In this particular card, the "window" takes the form of the topmost picture frame.

The inside of the note card is blank, and the back features a pink flower blossom just in front of a small framed painting similar to the one on the card front.

The card measures about 4 inches across and is about 5 inches tall. The little rectangular "window" near the top of the card measures 1 1/4 inches across and about 3/4 of an inch tall.

This card is in near-perfect condition.

The card has its own envelope which has aged to a cream color. The envelope is made of a slightly silky paper.

This sweet vintage card could be used in any springtime vignette or display, or it could be sent to a very special friend. It might also work well in scrapbooking or paper crafting projects.

Because this is a found object, it is offered in "as-is" condition. It was found by me, along with literally hundreds of vintage treasures, in an actual New Hampshire attic.
