WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT ALPACA WOOL?

For many centuries Alpaca is known as the Andean treasure trove. The worst of all is because of their amazing wool, which is said to be softer and stronger than cashmere, lighter and warmer than sheep, soft as merino sheep and shiny like silk. Clothing from this animal's fleece is 4-6 times better than heat from sheep's wool. Natural (unpainted) alpaca wool has the largest of all wool, even a 22-color palette: from black, gray to brown or white. This wool has no lanolin, so it does not contain moths or dust mites, and it may be suitable for people who are allergic to sheep wool. Alpaca is pierced once a year, usually in spring.

I have used this cardigan EVERY DAY since it has arrived and if I could live in it, I would! I was originally a little worried on how itchy it might be since it's made with real wool but it is surprisingly comfortable! i have gotten many compliments on it and it gives me all of the perfect cozy chic feels when walking around in it on the cooler days. I will say as a forewarning, it does shed hair a bit. It's not enough to deter me from wearing it though. Oh, and it's VERY WARM. Perfect for a chilly day or cold night!
