Jewish baby Brit Milah or Simchat Bat certificate — a downloadable illustrated life cycle print. Not Framed.

This sweet illustration is in jpg format and is ready for home or professional printing on 8.5 x 11 stock. Print at home and fill in by hand at the ceremony. For best results print on matte photo paper. Although colors may be brighter on a glossy photo paper, it will be harder to write on the finished print with a pen and may smear. A light card stock works beautifully.

Two images provided. One suitable for Brit Milah and the second suitable for Simchat Bat.
The image area is centered on the page and if you are good with an exacto knife, you can trim down to 8 x 10 to fit into an off the shelf frame.

All of my listings are professionally printed Giclee prints on archival acid free 100% cotton rag paper with archival inks. With proper care, they should remain as vivid and beautiful in 100 years as they look the day you receive them. But if hung in direct sunlight, the colors will degrade over time. Care should also be taken in choosing acid free matte board to extend the life of your family heirloom.

All ketubot ship domestically to anywhere in the US and Canada for free. For shipping prices to Europe and other international destinations, please send me your full shipping address by convo, and I will get back to you with pricing. Some smaller items in my shop ship to Canada for an additional fee. I am working on that, and hope to be able to offer free shipping to Canada on all items over $35 soon.

This is very personal, but the first step is mapping the size so you know what you are dealing with. I have put together a tutorial for making a mock up of the size of your ketubah so that you can think about what it will look like hanging in your home. You can download it here:

Keep in mind that you may be adding a matte and the dimension of the frame when making your mock up.

That is a good question and I have thought about this a lot. I believe that all of my modern texts are appropriate for any and all unions. But since Hebrew is a language that treats masculine and feminine words and people differently, I do have special versions of my texts where the Hebrew has been modified to properly designate each partner. This is always a work in progress as Israel and my translators change with our changing world. If you have questions, please get in touch.

There is a long and complicated answer to this question which is asked often. Let me try and clear this up. Ketubah texts are almost always copyright to the ketubah artist that offers the text online. For that reason, it is almost never possible to use a text you find online unless you receive permission from the owner. This may be easy or there may be a charge involved.

Downloading a pdf or a jpg from the internet provides only a picture of the ketubah text. I need to be able to manipulate the text to customize it for your personalized Ketubah. Without a proper text file in both Hebrew and English, and permission from the owner of the text, I am not able to use a text you have found online.

Yes you can! I provide a translation service if you can not provide me with your own Hebrew translation. The price for translation is based on the length of your text. I will provide you with an estimate after reviewing your text. There is no additional cost to provide your own English text as long as you provide it to me in a word docx. or in the body of an email.
