Preserve bits of nature in whimsical leaf shapes...
The tutorial will take you step by step through basic wire shaping, hammering, soldering, cleaning, antiquing and finishing your metal leaf shapes. You then move on to fill your forged leaves with art and text papers, pressed flowers and leaves and finally resin. You will learn how to sand the edges of your leaf for a professional finish and seal the back so the leaf is completely enclosed.
*Since this tutorial was first published in 2009, a few different resins have become available which are discussed. I consider this a basic metal work project with a bonus of resin application. You will need a metal bench set up.
