While reading about the science of mood and emotions, I noticed that the same neurotransmitter chemicals kept coming up again and again. It is the different combinations of the mainly the same chemical players that gives us the full spectrum of feelings.

I couldn't resist making this neurotransmitter charm bracelet. This bracelet comes with six different neurotransmitter charms that you can clip on and off to match you mood (or what you'd prefer your mood to be).

Included are:

acetylcholine - learning, memory, dreaming
dopamine - love, pleasure, drive
GABA - general relaxant
glutamate - general stimulant
norepinephrine - focus, drive
serotonin - happiness, relaxation, satisfaction

and a "recipe" card that correlates mood/emotion to a neurotransmitter combination.

The 7 inch bracelet and charms (which vary in length between 3/4 and 1 1/4 inches) are made of sterling silver. The set comes in a recycled gift box.

Most of my jewelry is high quality, solid sterling silver. It is specially formulated to resist tarnish, but, like all silver, will tarnish. You can minimize oxidation by storing silver jewelry in a bag or box away from air and heat. Regularly wearing the jewelry can help rub off tarnish. I allow the silver serotonin necklace I wear daily to develop a bit of a patina. It's OK to wear your sterling silver jewelry in the shower.

Your order will come packaged in a cute, recycled paper gift box with a little card explaining what the molecule represents. I tie it with a ribbon, making a pretty package for gifting - no addition wrapping required.

What can I say? Etsy gave me a heart attack telling me it had been delivered when it had not. But eventually after a bit of wrangling with Royal Mail I finally found it and I am SO HAPPY it wasn't lost! Well worth the wait, excellent customer service from Raven via email when I went into meltdown over it being lost. As for the bracelet itself; absolutely beautiful. Fantastic quality, lovingly made and packaged amazingly! It is already gaining admirers and I am fighting my itchy fingertips not to go and order something else!
