A beautiful and unique Airport map (World Map) that depict all major airports in the World. This map is perfect for aviators, pilots, and anybody who loves planes and aviation.

WHAT IS IT ?

This is a very unique World Map.
I made it with both artistic and thematic motive.
This map replace cities with airports with their IATA code. Airport icons are proportionate to the number of passenger handled per year.

You can choose between 2 colours for the map :

- COBALT (shades of gray)
- AMBRE (colours)


Cobalt is a special design made for this map, it's made of harmonious shades of gray and gray colours (red and blue mostly). My intention was to make the map aesthetic, sober and refined yet readable with all the airports.
Ambre is based on my "regular" World Maps. Its a bright map with pastel colours.


The map is available in two languages : French or English.

WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF IT ?

As a geographer and graphic designer. My maps are meant to be aesthetic. With it's easy on the eye colours, both map designs are very decorative. But they are also meant to titillate the curiosity or the person who watches it, still being maps used to learn more about the World.
It's a very precise and accurate map with all countries, waterbodies and administrative divisions for some countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Russia & United States).

The map can let you travel ! Explore the world with this aesthetic world map, travel from one airport to another !

HOW IS IT MADE ?
______________

I'm a french geographer in my 30ies, I make all the maps myself. They are printed on HQ 180g Paper which is strong enough to be hung on the wall with ease yet still being durable.

All maps are 70 x 120 cm (27,5 x 47 in) - roughly A0 size
Smaller maps can be made on some occasions, ask me about it.

I SEE I CAN BY A FLAWED VERSION ? WHAT'S THIS ABOUT ?
______________

Because I care of the environment, I also sell few copies of English Ambre map for a lower price with a flaw on it rather than just throwing them away.
The flaw is a 20cm x 0,8mm fold that can only be seen from a certain angle. Even on pictures it can barely be seen.
This flawed copies are sold 35,21€

This map is 100% customised so yes you can. If you want further customisation such as changing city names, country names, making some very specific place to appear on the map (your village, your home town etc.). Ask me and send me a private message and for an extra fee, I'll be able to do it.
