This listing is for a grouping of THREE CANDLESTICKS with or without personalization. Each has an elegant and handmade feel that celebrates wabi sabi, the Japanese aesthetic embracing imperfection. Makes a unique gift for a 6th anniversary gift (iron anniversary), 11th anniversary gift (steel anniversary), wedding or housewarming gift. These heirloom pieces will stand strong for generations of candlelight!

Candlesticks sit approximately 5.5", 7.5" and 10.5" tall. Each has a round hammered tray base that is approximately 4.5" in diameter with a turned up lip that is approximately 3/4" tall. The part that receives the candle is just under an inch in diameter; taper candles that are 3/4" or a little larger in diameter will fit nicely. The candles in listing photos are 7/8" in diameter at their widest. Candles are not included.

Designed by Raina and hand forged by Ruben, these candlesticks are made without jigs or templates allowing each to celebrate unique character. Hammer marks on the metal speak to the ancient process of blacksmithing with the overall form emanating a contemporary feel. Made out of mild steel (which contains some irons) and finished with raw beeswax.

Candlesticks can be PERSONALIZED on the stem of the candle holder(s). We use 3/16" tall numbers and capital letters. "/", "-", "&", "+", "." and a heart shape are also options. Have your candle holders personalized with initials, a date,"6 YRS" or any combination of text. You can choose to personalize just one of the candle holders, two or all three. Select the option that matches the TOTAL character count of your desired text for all candle holders combined: up to 10 characters, 11-20 characters, etc.

All of our pieces are finished with natural Nova Scotia beeswax. To preserve this finish you should avoid all moisture. Pieces can be dusted or cleaned with a dry cloth. If, over time there is exposure to moisture, your piece may begin to patina. If this change is undesirable, you can use steel wool to dust off the rust and then reapply beeswax rubbing it into the exposed steel.

This was a wedding gift for my son and his wife. A family heirloom to be used at special occasions and remain in the family. I special ordered these for two small and one tall with their names and their wedding date. They loved these!
