This auction is for a goodly Leather Pauldron Cross Torso Strap Pack useful for the secure attachment and wear of a medieval pauldron. Made of a 5-6 oz latigo leather, it is the right balance of rugged and flexible to be worn comfortably and have good long life. These straps are the product of our custom belt shop and deliver superior quality long lasting leather fasteners that will surely exceed your expectations. It is all too common for inferior strapping to fail leading up to or in combat. While for some this is simply a nuisance, this small problem results in the fighting day being ended prematurely for a comparatively minor detail. Dark Victory Armory has been making strap-based products for more than 30 years, so we have every confidence that our straps will deliver reliable performance when fighting on the field for a very long time.

Current strap styles:

The Cross Body Torso harness: this is intended for the wear of a single shoulder pauldron

* A shoulder harness measuring 5/8" x 50" +/- with continuously punched holes throughout to allow for easy sizing with a variety of style of shoulder armor. The pauldron can be attached to this strap that is worn across the torso.

and

* An arm strap measuring 5/8" x 14"+/- belt with continuously punched holes throughout to secure the lower most articulation on the shoulder lames assembly to cross below the arm near the bicep. We offer this both as strap side and buckle side as well as a single piece so that you can section this strap as you'd like for mounting to the plates to secure it under the arm.

A length of lacing is also included to provide easy mean to connect your shoulder armor to the straps.

How to use: Lace your armor plating on at the position that best suits your needs. For the underarm either attach the strap as one piece or if you need more space, you can cut a section that include the buckle apart from rest and lace to each side of the arm plating.
