You are buying one Tina Turner Concert Photograph from ’83 at First Avenue Nightclub Minneapolis.

This shot was taken at a show on June 27, 1983 at the legendary First Avenue nightclub (later made famous in the movie “Purple Rain) in Minneapolis. Tina was just beginning her comeback, which would culminate in her hit album of the next year, 1984’s “Private Dancer.”

Some of my shots from this show are featured in the book “First Avenue - Minnesota’s Mainroom” by Chris Riemenschneider. You can now own full sized prints of some of your favorite shots featured in the book.

This is an original print, made at a professional photo lab. It is not a mass-produced item. It was originally shot on 35mm film, and contains grain inherent in the medium. If you don’t like grain, this is not for you.

This print is offered in color, as well as black & white, since I thought there was appeal in both styles.

The “watermark” does not appear on the actual print, of course. Cropping will vary depending on the size ordered.
