Why is shipping so expensive?

I have been trying to give Canadian buyers a break in shipping costs when purchasing small items by using Canada Post Oversized Lettermail but there is no tracking number for these items. Etsy now insists on having tracking for all orders, so I have no choice but to charge Canadian buyers for Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Please contact me to learn about possible ways to lower shipping costs for your postal code. Curbside pickup is available by appointment only after 4 pm for a $5.00 fee. I have to estimate the shipping charges for Canadian orders. Canada Post rates can cost up to $20.00 or more, depending on your postal code. I have capped my rates at $18.00 for the first item. I also offer combined shipping discounts to save you money.

How long will it take to process my order?

Most orders are shipped out within 1 to 3 business days. There may be some delays during the busy holiday season, or occasionally due to illness or unforseen emergencies. Please contact me if you require expedited shipping and/or handling for your order. Expedited Parcel and Express Post are available for an additional fee.

Do you provide tracking services for my order?

Orders shipped by Canada Post Expedited Parcel will have a tracking number. For American or International customers, my standard shipping method is Canada Post Tracked Packet (where available), so you will always have a tracking number for your order. If you want to upgrade your shipping method to Expedited Parcel or Express Post I will need a daytime telephone number to include on your shipping label.

Do you accept International Orders?

I am happy to ship my items to customers worldwide. Please note that buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
