Seller's description

We designed, twisted, hammered and swirled 12 gauge copper wire to make this unique Celtic knot influenced shawl pin, scarf pin or hair pin.

The pin measures about 2 3/4- 3 5/8" (7- 9.2 cm) long and about 1 5/8- 1 7/8" (4.1 - 4.8cm) across the widest part. The stick pin part with the spiral on top that slips through the main swirls and curls design to secure the pin is about 4 - 4 3/4" (10.2 - 12 cm) long.

You can gently bend the outer edges of the main piece to create a looser or tighter fit with the pin.

It is often hard to know if a hair accessory will work well for your particular type of hair without trying it on first. We wouldn't recommend this pin for very long or heavy hair. If our pin doesn't work well for you after you purchase it just let us know and we can easily work out a refund or exchange.

It can be worn as a sweater brooch too!
This pin would work best on a knit or crocheted open weave type garment and is not intended for tightly woven cloth fabric.

You will receive your pin wrapped in colorful tissue paper in a nice gift box and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.

The pin in the pictures is a representative pin and not the exact same one that you will receive. We hand make each pin and try hard to make them look the same. There may be some minor differences but the one you will receive will look very similar to the one you see in the pictures.

The copper wire used in this pin is in it's natural form and not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxides over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny.
Here are some suggestions for how to shine up your copper jewelry using common household supplies like lemon juice or ketchup:
