Having purchased so many products manufactured overseas in countries such as China, it was refreshing in so many ways to receive this beautiful product produced by Newry UK based RuachMusic. The stand is made from sapelle hardwood and has lovely figuring. All surfaces of the wood were well-sanded before finishing. The holes under the base were countersunk which makes the screws flush with the wood. The drilled holes on the base lined up well with the holes of the arm of the stand. The product was packaged extremely well with desiccant to prevent rust. The underside of the base has a total of 8 rubberized feet for stability. All necessary hardware was included. The packaging was mostly recyclable cardboard and did not include any styrofoam. It's just a really beautiful, functional piece with a simple yet elegant design.

I bought this item for my husband’s birthday. I bought him a nice Taylor acoustic guitar for Christmas and he need something equally outstanding to hang it on!!!
