When using brand new, natural fiber diapers, it takes 4-5 washes for the fabric to begin reaching peak absorbency because the natural oils in the fibers need to be removed. They will continue to increase in absorbency until you've washed them about 10 times. Run a prewash on regular cycle with no detergent to remove as urine salts and as much solid waste as possible. Wool covers are not pre-lanolized. I highly recommend hand washing to ensure a long life and optimum fit. Your wool may be machine-washed cold on gentle cycle or wool cycle. Lay flat to dry. Do not twist or wring.

Track & Trace shipping

Delays may happen due to customs clearance and during the holiday season. I ship in Priority Mail (CTT - Correios de Portugal), if the package is less than 2 kg, which includes Track & Trace for most countries but destination country postal services may not be obligated to scan and update tracking information. Other shipping methods upon request. I'm not responsible for items being delayed in transit. The shipping date provided by Etsy it's just an estimated date of arrival and it may be subject to delays. Estimated time: • Portugal: 2 to 5 business days • Europe: 5 to 12 business days • USA & Canada: 10 to 15 business days • Oceania & Other Countries: 2 to 4 weeks

You need to contact me before you make a return within 14 days after you get your order. You're responsible for return shipping cost and items returned need to be in perfect condition / unused and shipped with tracking. Be aware that returns from outside the EU may be subject to customs therefore a reduction in your refund if import charges are applied. A refund is made after I receive the products.

Ship to the U.S. - minimis suspension

Effective 29 August 2025, the United States has suspended its duty-free “de minimis” threshold of US$800 for all countries, including Portugal. From this date, all postal shipments to the U.S. will require duties to be prepaid before a package crosses the border – regardless of its value or country of origin. The end of the “de minimis” exemption for low-value parcel shipments, which had been in place for nearly a century, is prompting countries worldwide to suspend shipments to the U.S. Portugal’s postal service announced the suspension of package deliveries to the United States due to those changes, and it is still in place.
