Pietà is one of the three common artistic representations of a sorrowful Virgin Mary cradling the dead body of Jesus.

The inside of the medal is made of earth pipe, meerschaum or foam of the sea. (a kind of clay). The frame is made of copper. The convex glass is made of original antique hand-blown glass.

Measures of the shrine relique medal: 2.36 x 1.8 x 0.9 inches (6 x 4.8 x 2.4 cm).

The items in my shop are antique/vintage or preloved. The time always leaves (little) traces.
I think this is precisely the charm of a used and loved item from the past.
