READY TO SHIP: one bead-embroidered Blue-Winged Amazon Parrot pin. This is a rare and endangered species which was recently discovered in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula! This beaded bird was created by stitching tiny glass seed beads to felt (2-3 beads at a time) with needle and a strong nylon thread. The bird's feathers are tiny fringes that move when you touch them. Several different shades of seed beads were used, as well as a glass doll eye. A 1" (3cm) pin/pendant is attached to the back. Piece is backed with Ultrasuede, signed by The Lone Beader.
