This listing is for 50+ Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) SEEDS. Collected from our Haiku, Maui grown Patchouli plants for the 2026-27 growing season. These seeds are shipped DRIED with plant chaff (material). Patchouli needs a constant 75-85 degrees. Bright but not direct light is best for this plant (and most seedlings).

PLEASE PLANT THE CHAFF/PLANT MATTER AND SEEDS IN A CONTAINER OF GOOD POTTING SOIL.
******We suggest scattering the tiny black dust sized Patchouli seeds and the plant chaff in packet on the top of a container of good potting soil. Mist lightly to help the seeds settle into the top of soil without being blasted out of the container. Please be careful not to bury these tiny seeds too deeply. *****A good gardening rule of thumb is to plant a seed about the depth that it is the size of.

Please note that you must keep your Patchouli 75-85 degrees and water it regularly. This plant prefers semi shade but can grow in full sun. PATCHOULI SEEDS CAN TAKE UP TO 3+ WEEKS TO GERMINATE.
After germination, Patchouli is a very fast growing plant (a member of the Mint family). You must keep this herb plant 75-85 degrees at all times.
We grow, collect and ship the Patchouli seeds that you will receive. It is one of the easiest + carefree plants to grow that we have in our garden (again, it volunteers all over the place). Start your Patchouli seeds in containers of good potting soil. Patchouli seeds are tiny, use a spray water bottle and barely cover them with soil. Keep evenly watered and warm at all times, that means never let dry out completely or below 75 degrees.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT SOME CHAFF/DRIED LEAF IS IN THE SEED PACKET AS WELL AS THE 100+ SEEDS. PATCHOULI SEEDS ARE VERY TINY. PLEASE PLANT THE SEEDS + CHAFF ALL TOGETHER AND KEEP WARM/75-85 DEGREES + EVENLY WATERED. WAIT AT LEAST THREE++ (3) WEEKS TO SEE THE START OF TINY SEEDLINGS. It is okay to plant the seeds + chaff together, will not affect germination.
Patchouli leaves are known for their very distinct aromatic scent. Some people love the earthy scent of Patchouli and some others do not.
