It is made from hand dyed raw silk covered with thread to add color and dimension that was then sewn to the background.

The body is made from fleece with white threads sewn on. There is a 3-dimensional shirred flower with gold accents.

The background was heavily machine quilted.

The piece measures 22.5x21". There is a hanging sleeve sewn to the back. It is an original design.
