Raven hair barrette.This nature,Raven, Crow and corvid inspired hair barrette is created from top grade vegetable tanned tooling leather, this original design is hand cut, carved, formed then painted with acrylics.The size of the barrette is 5.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches from head to tail.The Raven barrette is available in black or dark brown. A hand-carved wooden hair-pin is available in black or brown. The finished piece is sealed with water-resistant acrylic varnish and signed by the artist.~ I can also do custom barrettes with Nordic/Viking runes and bind runes from the Elder Futhark if requested with no extra charge. Each rune is hand carved/tooled and no stamps are used. I feel like to really invoke the rune it should be carved in by hand while thinking of the rune that is chosen.....~•ᛉ•~.....

WOW am I impressed with this hairpin, and even more impressed with the artist who made it! I needed it quickly for an event, and Donovan was so kind, responsive and helpful in getting it expedited. When it arrived... LOOK at how beautifully it was packaged!!! I almost didn't want to open it. I got so many compliments on this hairpin at my event, at least a dozen people asked for the artist's Etsy listing so they could go online and buy their own. Donovan is SERIOUSLY talented, y'all. Buy his pieces because they're basically wearable art!!
