Size charts are available for all items. The outfits have very little stretch so please utilize the size charts for accurate size purchasing. We are not responsible for purchasing of wrong size. Please note tween size 14, 16 and adult have sweetheart necklines. Dresses only stretch to the chest/bust measurements so please know to measure prior to ordering. Also, everyone is sized differently and items may fit different depending on your body shape and bust size.

Please machine wash in gentle in cold water, with like colors and hang all items to dry is highly recommended. Soaking items is not recommended, also strong detergents are not recommended as well. Some items have heat transfer vinyl on them so drying is highly not recommended. When ironing please place a cloth between iron and heat transfer image and do not use steam in the area of the image. Maude and Charley’s is not responsible for items that have been ruined by care not followed on instructions. Once an item has been worn and washed we no longer hold liability for the items purchased, as we can not be sure of how it was handled. No refunds or partial refunds are available for inadequate washing or ironing of items.

Processing order timeline

Usually our processing time is 14-21 business days and ships on the 15th-22nd day. We establish 14-28 day timeline on Etsy to cover holidays and weekends. Please prior to purchasing count the business days to see when it would ship. A rush order fee may apply. During non busy times we are sometimes able to accommodate a shorter production time however this needs to be approved by us prior to you purchasing. If you purchase and state day you need it and have not approved it by us, there is not a guarantee it will be there by that time. There are no refunds for purchases made with time restraints that have not been approved prior to purchasing. All items are shipped 2-5 day priority mail envelopes which is the cheapest fastest way to ship.

Our shop is extremely busy in the fall. We recommend purchasing early to insure we have the ability to complete your order. We limit custom orders (requests for new characters not in our shop) from September until November 1st. 14 days prior to Halloween please inquire PRIOR to ordering if the item can be done and delivered by Halloween.

Adult’s and children’s size vests are made to fit like a vest. The vest will go to about the waist level. They do not fit like a T-shirt, they do not go over waist or hips. It is a form fitting vest. If wanting more room please size up. Any questions please contact seller. We do not alter items once they have been shipped to the customer, using the size chart is a way to avoid issues. Images are sized to item purchased and will appear smaller or larger depending on size purchased. Fit can vary depending on body shape.

Sales happen randomly in our shop. If you are receiving a sale price no other discounts can be used. Multiple item discount can not be combined with any sale or other coupon. Only one discount per order is allowed, discounts/sale prices can not be used on pending/received. orders. Dapper Dan collection, Topolino’s minnie and Bert dress are never included in a coupon or sale due to they are at the lowest possible price. Multiple item discount can not be applied during a sale

Items color may vary due to dye lots or computer/phone settings. We use a set company that supplies our fabric and purchase the same fabric color once an item has been listed.

Can my item be returned or refunded?

Due to the items being custom made to order as well as generally used for special trips or occasions, we do not accept exchanges or returns. It is imperative to use the size charts to determine if the item will fit prior to purchasing. We are not responsible for items that are too big or too small. Items can not be exchanged for a different size with out paying a fee to do so and returning the previous item at buyers expense. Returning an item to us does not constitute receiving a refund. Please contact the seller if there is an issue with an item within 2 days of receiving items in the mail.

What hours is the shop open? Why doesn’t the shop answer questions on the weekends or nights?

Our shop runs during the week (Monday through Friday) from 9am-5pm PST. We answer questions during business hours on business days. We try to answer questions within 24/48 hours of receipt. If your question is asked on a weekend it is considered received on Monday. However sometimes we have the ability to answer questions on off times but this is not a guarantee.

We no longer offer the zebra dress as of 2023 as the fabric was discontinued. The only option is cheetah now.

1. Items are made to order only. Item takes 14 business days to make before shipping out on the 15th business day by 2-5 day Priority mail through USPS. THIS TIMELINE MAY DIFFERS FROM ETSY’S TIMELINE. Etsy counts date of purchase, weekends and holidays, we do not. Please make sure you count business days prior to ordering. Purchasing more than one item can lengthen the production time so please contact seller to confirm timeframe.
2. We DO NOT accept cancellations or returns as our items are custom made. Please contact seller for any questions.
3. Adult/tween size dresses have a sweetheart neckline that differs from the children’s sizes and images are adjusted to middle panel (which may be smaller than seen in photo). Size of all images is dependent on size ordered, they will not exceed 10”. Almost all images are heat transfer vinyl.
4. Rush orders available with prior approval by seller for an additional fee. DO NOT PUT NEED BY DATE IN NOTE TO SELLER WHEN PURCHASING UNLESS DIRECTED TO BY US. We do not guarantee an earlier arrival date without PRIOR approval and fee paid.
5. Dresses are pictured with a petticoat under them, petticoats are NOT included.
6. Accessories are NOT included, hats, ears, knee highs, jewelry etc.
7. All items are made to fit measurements provided in our size chart. The dresses will stretch to the chest/bust measurement only and are intended to put on over the head. Size chart is in photos. Please measure prior to purchasing, we do not offer returns for wrong size ordered. Our size chart may differ from store bought clothing. Tween sizes require you to measure prior to ordering to confirm.
8. Items are made with a variety of cotton/polyester lightweight fabric.
9. “ADD-ON” items are only available with purchase with the dress or vest listed and not available for individual sale.
