Hi again, Audrey! Thank you for your special notes regarding the history of this necklace, and that it is truly a vintage piece, considering how old the carnelian was when you made it! The necklace is actually a gift for my Auntie “Fe” which also means “faith” in Spanish. Imagine how hard it is to come up with a namesake piece like this, without having to go custom! So when I saw this, I HAD to get it for her. Anyhoo—I am also gifting this necklace with a pair of bright carnelian and sterling silver earrings that I managed to find, so that she has the set!

Hi Audrey, just getting to this now! I think this ring was just what I was looking for at the time, the right size, and the right price! I really liked the fact that it appears to be made out of Black Hills gold with the flowers and leaves on the sides of the brooch. And, of course, the little twinkling diamond in her necklace was a big draw!
