The Process:
Each recycled glass piece is cleaned then hand cut to the proper shape. Using a glass grinder, the edges are ground down to be smooth. Next the glass pieces are foiled using adhesive copper foil. Once folied, the pieces are fitted together and soldered along every seam. The terrarium is now ready to be washed, brushed with steel wool and have a patina applied. The final step is brushing on a finishing compound that keeps the solder seams looking polished and shiny!

Care Instructions:
Clean by wiping down with microfiber cloth. Do not use chemicals to clean as it may affect the patina. Be careful not to scratch the seams as this can mark and affect the patina. The solder seams can be polished with a finishing compound or polishing wax. Make sure to test on a small area that is not very visible before doing the whole thing to ensure the best results.
