1980s Necklace Vintage Carol Dauplaise Brutalist Matte Muted Gold Link Choker

Originally imported to Australia from the US, is this Carol Dauplaise necklace. The weighty architectural collar features chunky matte gold link panels that sit beautifully, contouring the neckline. It secures with an integrated, convenient hook closure stamped with the designer’s signature on the rear of every second link. Panels: 3 cm by 4 cm (1.2 in x 1.6 in), Length: 48 cm (18.9 in). Flaws: Displays minor vintage colour loss to the front plating along with natural verdigris accumulation localised to the rear link joints.
