I live near Abbot Kinney in Los Angeles, where "small batch" is the norm, and these cards STILL stand out! This is my second purchase from TrulyTruly. It's a simple card that speaks a lot. The large HAPPY BIRTHDAY is set in a type halfway between whimsical and premium. The embossing is clean, which is important since the text and graphic has varying line weight, giving it additional texture. The paper is heavy weight, notable by the strong crease that causes the card to perpetually be slightly ajar, ready for viewing. It is also textured paper and not glossy, which makes it easier to write on. The copper envelope has a nice textured shine that almost sparkles warmly in the light. Perfect contrast to the white. These cards are great for someone special.
