The Cloudlet Cluster Case was introduced in 2016. Created to be a versatile case for multiple single board computers, it's innovative design continues to be the best case for Cluster computing. Each Cloudlet Case is laser cut from extra thick acrylic and then hand bent and assembled. This laborious process ensures a durable and quality case for your Cluster Computing.


Main Features:
Eight bays hold Raspberry Pi and MOST single-board computers or 2.5" hard drives.
For Raspberry Pi5, 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, and B+ (not included).
Other single board computers must adhere to the RPi mounting hole pattern and port configuration.
Plates click securely into place for fast removal without bolts.
Room for most 8-port switches (maximum size of 4 1/2″ x 8 3/4″ x 1 5/8″)
Multiple Cloudlet Cases can be bolted together, vertically or horizontally for modular clusters.

*Eight Raspberry Pi with Official PoE Hat or PoE+ Hat- It Fits!
The popular combination of the Raspberry Pi and Official PoE Hat or PoE+ Hat will fit in one slot of space in the Cloudlet Cluster Case.
8 port PoE Switches will fit with an overhang, as seen in this picture.
Cloudlet Case Fans (included) will fit mounted internal or external.
Please note that fans are GPIO powered, if PoE Hat is installed, GPIO pins will be covered by PoE Hat
-Hats are fully compatible with the case, but may take two slots of space.
-Holes for zip ties to aid with cable management.
-Holes in bottom of case allow for pass through of micro usb plugs, and larger holes allow full size AC plug to pass through.
-Color plates on side of case can be removed or switched out if that option is chosen.
-Raspberry Pi 4 B Compatible with the following notes on fit:
*if pi-4 is mounted the same as the pi-3 Ethernet cable will cross over the usb ports. If this works for the customer then the case can still fit 8 pi’s.
*If pi-4 is mounted on the opposite side of plate it make the Ethernet closer to the bottom of the case as before. However the power and hdmi ports are facing upwards and the case is
limited to 7 pi’s.
