This Octopus Tentacle design was hand carved in wax and then molded and cast in metal. It took a crazy amount of patience to make all the little suckers on the tentacle!

We have oxidized the silver tentacle in order to emphasize the details and then we have polished it by hand. We end it in a tumbler for the final buff. The pendant is a bit under 2" long (49 mm) in hanging position and is cast in approx. 11 grams of 925 Sterling Silver.

The Chain used on the pictures is the 1.5 mm Sterling Silver chain and it has a spring clasp. If you choose the Stainless Steel chain it comes with a lobster clasp.

Although we cast all our pewter jewelry in our workshop we lack the equipment needed to melt silver, so we have teamed up with a casting company so that they will cast our designs into Sterling Silver. We then have the same procedure as with our pewter where we file, oxidize, hand polish and tumble the pieces.
