Vintage from the 1980s

Elegant and opulent, these glossy, midnight black oversized frames are in deadstock condition, originally crafted in the 1980s and are sure to put a little mystery into your everyday. Sunglasses or eyeglasses? What a ridiculously chic choice to have.

Condition: NEW OLD STOCK condition – these glasses have never been worn or lensed previously and are in stunning condition for their age. This being said, they have sat in storage for nearly 50 years and do have some signs of age: some exceedingly light and some mild warping, all of which can be fixed with heat-treatment. These are signs of age and authenticity. Their hinges are tight and well-aligned and their color is vibrant.

All of our glasses are RX ready to have your own eyeglass or sunglass lenses fitted by a professional optician!

With all of our glasses if these are for personal use we recommend replacing the lenses with your own prescription at your local opticians. All glasses “settle” to their owner’s face, so we always recommend to our vintage eyeglass customers to have a professional optician help adjust the glasses in minor ways to suit their particular construction.
