Well known designer Jay Feinberg Strongwater no longer makes jewelry, but the pieces he made back in the 1980's and early 90's have become highly collectible, and it is easy to see why.
This piece from The Laurie Collection is a stunning, delicate Victorian Revival or Edwardian style necklace made of antique bronze metal, faceted crystals and faux pearls, with a beautiful crystal and seed pearl butterfly in the center accented with a large single teardrop pearl. 6 twisted strands of tiny seed pearl beads complete the necklace, which fastens with an adjustable hook and chain closure. Butterflies signify a new beginning, a perfect theme for wedding jewelry. Will be simply stunning with the right neckline, a marvelous "something old" for the vintage loving bride. Adjusts from approx 14 1/2 to 16 inches. Excellent condition. Marked Jay Strongwater twice, on back of butterfly and on the hang tag. Another knockout piece from the Laurie Collection.
All Laurie Collection jewelry comes with a gift box.
My dear friend Laurie has exquisite taste and has always had an appreciation for fine craft jewelry. Laurie also has a passion for fine vintage jewelry, statement jewelry, of course. Big bold earrings, vividly colored rhinestone necklaces, and many hand crafted and signed designer pieces. That's
