This little baby seal has been made with marvellous attention to anatomical detail. I really appreciate it when not just the obvious details like flippers have been reproduced accurately, but more subtle aspects like the head-to-toe body form. The sweet face with its carefully stitched eyes and nose makes it one of the cutest additions to my collection.

Just finished this in the last few days to gift to a friend. I'm so happy with the result, and that the mattress stitch was explained so well - it actually looks muuuuch better put together than my usual efforts! I stuffed the limbs as the black stuffing I used in the head and body is a bit denser than what I was used to. I also lightly stuffed the tail. It all anchored him nicely! Thank you for this lovely pattern :)
