Star Fox 64 Lylat Wars Arwing fighter Resin Replica Model Kit

Completely hand sculpted and cast- NO AI.

This is an un-assembled/unpainted Urethane resin (NOT A 3D PRINT) model kit of an Arwing space superiority fighter from Star Fox 64 (lylat wars to international folks) This is as accurate as it gets to the 64 version. It has an 18" wingspan. The basic/Closed Laser kit comes in 10 parts: Fuselage, smart bomb panel insert, underside panel, windscreen, L wing, R wing, L aileron, R aileron, and a pair of G-diffusers.

The kit will require very minor clean up at the seam lines, and clean up in the sprue/pour areas. Anyone with basic modeling experience can easily finish up this kit with some sandpaper and an exacto knife. Most of the casting flaws are minor though, so you can leave them as is. The first two pictures is of a kit with the sprues cut and only a few drops of glue to hold it together for photos, and is otherwise untouched. The fourth picture is the raw parts, and will be the state in which you receive your kit. As you can see, the parts are molded in color, and only minor paint apps and weathering is required for a basic finished look.

2026 UPDATE- kits now come with 2x clear resin printed canopies in place of the solid black resin canopy pictured, as well as interior detailing parts. The canopies will require some finish sanding and gloss-coating for a more transparent look.

The panel on the bottom can enclose an amiibo NFC/RFID tag. It can also be used to hide holes drilled for custom display stands, etc. The ship scales well with Fox and Falco " small electronic/based minifigures."

The last picture is a painted example of what a skilled builder can accomplish with this kit. (Twin laser "upgrade" pictured) I offer painted/completed commissions of this kit in another listing.
