Other kits include finger guards. Do I need them to protect my hands?

I find finger guards to be cumbersome and they actually make the felting process more difficult because you can't feel the wool. If you pay attention and always poke down toward your felting mat, you shouldn't get poked very often.

Do I need a needle holder?

No, you don't need a t needle holder. I felt just with the bare needle. If you have joint pain or feel that a holder would be more comfortable for you, I recommend purchasing the Clover brand, pen-style felting tool that holds up to 3 needles. This is the only felting tool I use besides my own. I don't carry it in my shop but is is easily found online and sometimes even in local craft stores.

How long does it take to make a felted animal?

All of the animal kits I sell in my shop are beginner level and can be done in 1-4 hours, depending on your experience and skill level.

When will I get my order?

Orders shipped to the USA usually arrive within 3-5 days of ordering. I try to ship your order out same day or next. International orders take anywhere between 2-5 weeks, depending on location. Contact me for an estimated time arrival to your region.

Are the shipping estimates accurate?

Usually the shipping estimates are accurate but if you order multiple items, sometimes Etsy will over-estimate the shipping. If the actual shipping is $1 or more difference than what you were charged, I will automatically refund you the difference. If you need an accurate estimate before you order, just contact me and I will get that to you right away.

What is needle felting?

Needle felting is the art of poking wool into shapes with specialized needles. It is similar to crotchet and "Woobles" because you can make animals and anything you want, but needle felting is much easier to pick up and learn (first time needle felters can start creating right away!) and you are free to create anything you can imagine, without the need for a pattern.
