This listing is for an instant digital download containing printable patterns (pdf) and instructions for making all of the armor pieces for your own Dark Souls 3 Abyss Watcher cosplay! This is NOT a physical product or a finished piece.

Patterns are included for the helmet, knee pads, leg embellishments, shoulder, throwing knives, upper arm, bracer, gauntlet, and mask. I also include bonus reference pictures for making the Farron greatsword. Please note that I do NOT include patterns for the fabric pieces (jacket, cape, legs, boots, etc.), since the fit varies widely from person to person.

15+ pages of instructions discuss in detail how to assemble the armor, suggestions for rigging, tips on detailing and smoothing, and my painting technique.

These patterns are intended for use with thin flexible materials such as card stock, poster paper, or thermoplastics like worbla or thibra, although it may be adapted for other materials like 2mm thick EVA foam (I have not tested this).

The patterns are designed to fit an average sized person, but the pdf can also be resized to make the pieces bigger or smaller.

Special notes about the helmet - The finished helmet is about 10" (25 cm) tall and 12" (30 cm) wide. The helmet patterns as assembled are shown in the second to last image (black worbla). While the patterns provide a good starting base, getting a smooth metallic finish as shown will take some time and work. A filler, such as bondo or paperclay, followed by many steps of sanding is necessary. Details and photos of this process are outlined in the included tutorial.
