Individually Ecological Timeless

Unique German oak dining table with natural tree edge. This is a natural table top made from 2 - 5 solid oak planks glued from the same oak trunk. This results in an almost uniform, continuous grain pattern, in contrast to most other competing products, which use either a simple cut-to-length glued wood panel or a solid wood panel made up of many individual strips glued together. When processing the table, the focus is on preserving the character and beauty of the oak. Larger knotholes and cracks were filled with resin. Smaller wormholes or cracks are filled with a soft wax. Each table is painstakingly sanded by hand and then oiled several times with a special wood oil.

The table stands on two metal runners (U-runners) which are available in matt black, white, raw steel and matt stainless steel. Matt stainless steel means that the runners have a ground/brushed look. The frame is deliberately chosen to be simple so that the beauty and uniqueness of the table top is in the foreground.
