Named after the Goddess of Spring, this charming dress would make a wonderful addition to your summer wardrobe with it's handkerchief hem skirt.

The Persephone dress is a beautiful, flirty and feminine summer dress pattern for women that I designed to flatter the female form whilst still being comfortable. It makes a perfect sun dress with it's sweetheart bodice and full circle pointed hem skirt.

The dress has a fit and flare design, and shoulder straps ensure a comfortable fit.

The dress is intended for use with stretch knit fabric; medium weight fabric such as scuba and ponte roma is advised.
The PDF sewing pattern comes will full instructions on how to make your own dress, complete with pictures.

I love this pattern. Its so easy to make. It was a little small for me, im on the larger size, but after cutting the pieces a little bigger, they fit. Ive made several dresses already.

Not sure if it was the fabric I used or the pattern, but the top sags a ton with the weight of the skirt. I am probably going to seam rip the top off and line it with a thicker fabric and remake the straps in a similar pattern so it doesn't resemble a deflated balloon on me. Pattern is easy to use and great otherwise! Recommend thicker fabric!
