The 1980 Jim Morrison the doors greatest hits snake style necklace has been made with some modern refinements to it in order to provide a more superior necklace when compared to all others. So why is this necklace so special? I start with hand selected aged white czech beads and limited edition candy apple red beads with jet black accent beads. The barrel clasp is lightly aged along with the jump rings and bead covers. A process that takes a fair amount of time to complete but worth it. I have spent a great deal of time refining this necklace and looking for ways to make it better. Ways to make it more durable and ways to make it last longer without compromising the quality and integrity of the necklace. I can say without a doubt that I have! Don't get me wrong the original version of my Jim Morrison Cobra Necklace is spot on perfect but I just wanted to make it better.

I use only the highest quality materials available in the industry and that alone is what sets me apart from my competitors. Each necklace is traditionally hand crafted for excellence and made with vintage (NOS) private stock czech seed beads.

I use hand aged white beads for a more vintage look and feel. These beads are aged by me using a special process. The result is a type of bead that really gives this necklace a special vintage look and adds to the vintage appeal that others try to create and that I have perfected. I am the only one who is doing this. I cut no corners. You get only the very best. I use a special 49 strand braided bead wire that is extremely flexible and seemingly unbreakable(Not fishing line!). The 49 strand 7 braid bead wire expensive but worth the price for this necklace. It will not break the pattern of the necklace and is very durable. I also hand age the barrel clasp and other parts of the necklace to add to the vintage feel of this fantastic necklace. It is the best of the best. The necklace is28 to 30 inches in length just as Jim's famous beaded snake necklace was and fits over the head easily. Custom lengths are available upon request. I can also make this necklace available using my super strong c-lon tex bead chord and secure the necklace by tying my signature knot if you want to go all the way old school. Just let me know.
