Seller's description

Inhalation: saturation, intake, consumption
On the surface a blue-green figure lies on this stomach, as he blows into the hot yellow furnace to keep the fire alive. Thick red smoke too heavy to disperse in the atmosphere falls down onto the earth. Despite the overwhelming amount of smoke, the figure continues blowing into the furnace.

About the Work
Each painting is intricately detailed with the intent of capturing the viewers attention regardless if they’re observing from afar or close up. Using a painting technique called automatism allows the plethora of shapes to form in the moment. This adds a level of uniqueness not found otherwise. Additionally I add layers of transparent paint to create a rich and complex color scheme. By combining the two elements, you’ll be presented with a piece of artwork that breathes personality into any environment.

• Original large painting
• 36” x 48”
• Oil on canvas
• Varnished
• Ready to hang with wire attachment.
• Personally signed on the back of the canvas.

Artist Statement
Weird, strange and unusual; each colorful surreal oil painting unveils the hidden reality within the mind. The subconscious is constructed like a giant web, which as a whole creates an individual. Using automatic painting techniques, my mind enters a meditative state. As I begin to follow the strings of the subconscious web, abstract shapes transform into biomorphic forms within the painting. One form leads to another, like a trail of thoughts. It’s as if my mind and the paint are in sync with each other. This allows each surreal painting to be a modern and psychedelic piece of vibrant wall art perfect for any interior space.
