By purchasing this product you agree that you have read and will adhere to the following:

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THE BASIC LICENSE:
a. Take your own, in-person photos to add to the backdrop (composite edit)
b. Distance editing is allowed for public health reasons ONLY for people in your local area (people who would have come to you in-person).
d. For your own, personal use.
e. You may print a physical backdrop for your own studio only.
f. You may create ads for your own business and local editing (not distance editing).
g. You can post your own versions of work on the backdrop onto your social media accounts. A link-back is always appreciated :)

THE BASIC LICENSE CANNOT BE USED FOR THE FOLLOWING (you need a commercial license)
a. Making your own stock with the whole, or a part, of the backdrop/overlay.
b. Any digital or physical products for sale or giveaway/donation (digital cards, printed cards, mugs, canvases, calendars, physical backdrops, etc.)
c. Any distance editing, for-profit, or for free.
d. Creating ads for distance editing
e. Digital paid advertisements beyond your local area (ex. Facebook ads, Google ads).
f. Native apps, web apps, or games.
g. Magazines, book covers, album covers. etc.
h. Posting to free or paid stock sites.
i. Using the work in any Facebook/private editing group.

Violators of any of these rules will be prosecuted.

Because of the nature of this product, refunds are not available after purchase.

Normally, any editing service you offer online would require the commercial license purchased for each of our images you intend to use. However, because of COVID, we have modified our basic license to allow your clients to send you images to be edited as long as they are local to you. We define local as being within a reasonable driving distance so that they would have come to you for in-person shoots but now feel uncomfortable doing so because of COVID.
Any clients outside of your local area that would not come to you for in-person photo shoots would require a commercial license.

We do offer editing services through custom orders. Our prices are $30 US for a single person background replacement edit, with an additional $3 US for each additional person/pet etc.
Our turnaround time is usually 7-10 days (longer during peak seasons like Christmas or Easter).

a. I cannot use photos from other professional photographers unless you have their consent (this keeps us both from breaking copyright laws).
b. In order to make your photo blend as well as possible, it should be taken outside only.
c. In pure shade (no sunspots) or a cloudy day
d. On solid ground (no grass)
e. At the level of the person (not tilting the camera up or down but getting right down on your knees).
f. A photo from a real camera is ideal, set at the best quality settings. I CAN use cell phone photos, however, they will be a low-res photo mixed with a high-res one- you could probably blow it up to 8.5x11 comfortably.
*I have photo examples on all of my listings showing you the best ways to take a photo.

Backdrops and Cards: You will often be able to find a sale on my site for my backdrops, especially around major holidays.
Custom Edits: I'm sorry, but I do not offer bulk packages, people simply send me however many images that need to be edited and pay for each one individually or I can put them together as one payment in a custom order (without discounts). I work very hard to provide excellent edits and appreciate being fairly compensated for doing so :)

You should receive a link as soon as your purchase goes through. Your download is also available under your Etsy profile, it will say Purchases and Downloads. If you are having trouble (sometimes this happens if people make a purchase in Guest mode) then please send me your email address and once I confirm your purchase I would be happy to email you the backdrop.

If you plan on distributing my images digitally or using them on products/apps/books/etc. (anything beyond your small photography business of customers that you take photos of) then you need a commercial license. This is a standard way to copyright digital images and helps compensate artists like us for setting up model shoots, materials, etc. Please message us if you're not sure about the license that you need.
