These are brackets of my own design for adding extra shelves to the IKEA DETOLF display case. This pack includes 12 brackets enough for 3 shelves.

These are the brackets only, it is easier for you to get the shelf's locally, glass ones should be about £10 each at a glazer, or you can cut up a sheet of 4mm Perspex from a DIY store.

The brackets are 3D printed in Grey plastic, the correct nuts and screws are included. I've spent a lot of time and dozens of versions to perfect this design, they are easy to install and provide a nice neat, flat bracket for shelves to sit on.

These brackets work much better than the metal cable ties as the cable tie has very little support for the shelf, allowing for possible catastrophic collapse, a problem our brackets overcome. Our brackets are also much easier to fit, only requiring a single bolt to be tightened which is accessible, unlike the cable tie that has two nuts each to tighten and half of the nuts are positioned in very tight corners!

A few people have asked how much weight do the brackets hold, so far I've tested them with 7kg, that should cover most models in your collection, I've added photo's!

If like me you need a cabinet to display models and war game armies there is nothing cheaper than the IKEA DETOLF, but it only comes with three shelves, plus the bottom of the cabinet. You really need more shelves, I find the perfect balance is three more shelves that divide each shelf space in half and one shelf full height for big monsters and terrain. This kit includes 12 brackets with all the nuts and bolts you need, this is enough for three shelves. If you require a different number of brackets, message me and I'll work out something for you.

They are very nicely printed but they were pretty difficult to install. Once in though, they did a great job. If the nuts were a little bigger. They were so small, that when you insert them and run the screw to them, they would want to turn with the screw. If they were a little bigger, they would not be able to spin inside the 3d printed bracket. But once they were installed, they did and look great!

The clips are awesome! I needed to be able to display my Green Goblin on his glider and these clips allowed me to make more space for it! Fast shipment (as fast as international shipping can be), but the wait was worth it.
